Virual reality is gradually making its appearance in different media such as games and films. But how about combining art and virtual reality? To explore this grey area, I made, in collaboration with Supermassive and Alkonost Development, the virtual reality art gallery 'Acropolis'. In this experience, a viewer is able to explore a digital art gallery on every device.
The Royal College of Art organizes an annual graduation show of the artworks of their students. Acropolis is digitally extending this art show while at the same time opening a discussion about how digital art environments relate to physical art shows.
